The ECRMC Penalty / EFT Calculator ("the app") is a free tool provided by the East Central Railway Men's Congress (ECRMC), Samastipur for the internal use of railway ticket-checking staff. This policy explains what information the app handles.

Information we collect

• Registration details you enter once: mobile number, name, post, headquarters (HQ), railway (zone) and division.
• Usage activity: the actions you perform in the app (fare enquiries, earnings sheets, complaint and ACP reports, sign-in / sign-out), with a timestamp.
• Basic device information: browser, operating system, screen size, language and time-zone — used only to keep the tool working correctly and to compile aggregate usage counts.

How we use it

• To provide the calculator and its features.
• To maintain the roll of registered staff and show aggregate usage statistics to the union administrator.

How it is stored

The above data is stored in a Google Firebase Realtime Database. The list of registered staff and the activity log can be read only by the authenticated union administrator; they are not publicly readable.

Third-party services

To look up train fares and routes, the app queries public railway-information services (Indian Railways enquiry / eRail and ConfirmTkt). Only the train number and station codes you enter are sent to these services — no personal information is shared with them.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with advertisers or any third party.
• We do not collect location, contacts, photos, payment details or any sensitive data.

Data retention & removal

Activity logs are pruned automatically over time. To have your registration record removed, contact us at the email below.

This is an unofficial staff-welfare tool by ECRMC (a recognised employees' union). It is not an official application of Indian Railways or the Government of India. Fares shown are indicative and must be verified with the official HHT / enquiry before use.
